Today is Amelie's one month birthday.
It seems so unfair that while the months of pregnancy dragged on and on, now that Amelie is out on terra firma, the time is flying by.
As you can see, she has grown a little bit since the last post. Below she is featured in her ruffled ankle skinny leg pantaloons and "seal"ed with a kiss ballet neck onesie.
We have had some special visitors over the past few weeks!
Aunt Christine drove in from Redlands for a visit. She helped me enormously shopping for things I needed and doing lots o' laundry! Tasks only a sister would gladly perform.
Next "auntie leigh" from san diegoLeigh provided unparalleled support by helping me get a pedicure (very important) and of course by keeping me laughing ...one of her finest gifts!
Then, came Mary P my super wonderful friend with a green thumb who trimmed our yard, performed a righteous jihad on the bougainvillea and dispelled my growing worries that the backyard would be come an overgrown jungle.
Each weekend we go "swimming".
According to Doctor Spock - her eyes look crossed only because she has not yet developed binocular vision!

On sunny mornings we prevent diaper rash by taking a sun bath in the library.
